I am a student of computer science at the local college. From time to time it happens that our school is chosen by the authorities to take part in some additional, extra projects or programs, things that do not normally belong to our routine. Our task this time was connected with the issue of driving. At first it could seem that computers do not have very much in common with cars and drivers, but it is not that easy to state! Nowadays more and more things are dependent on some computer systems, whether we want it or not. The technology develops and this is a normal course of things. But coming back to the recent project - we were asked to carry through a research about the question of computer driving skills and their influence on Theory test. As you probably know, for five years every theory test has been taken with the help of a computer. Our task is to prove it that skills connected with using the computer really do influence the outcome of a theory test or on the contrary - do not have anything to do with the potential failures or successes. We are going to carry through a survey first and make some further, specialized studies afterwards. I dont know if our university is going to get anything in return for that.
